Which Maternity Session Should You Choose?

I offer a variety of options for your maternity session and all of them lead to beautiful portraits that will allow you to look back and remember how amazing your baby bump was!

As a mom, I know the importance of being mindful in posing you in a way that is flattering and highlights your new baby bump. Let's get started on planning a session that captures your bump in a beautiful and artistic way.

Studio Session

What to expect in the studio...

If you're looking for a clean, classic look that keeps your images focused on you and your baby bump, the studio is the perfect place for your maternity session. I have a wardrobe closet full of dresses for expecting moms that pair perfectly with the studio setting. The studio also has everything you need to stay comfortable throughout your session. My studio is located in Niles, IL. Studio sessions are done mid-day between 10am-2pm.

Bare Belly Session

What to expect...

What is a bare belly session? Sometimes referred to as a boudoir maternity session, this session can be tailored to your comfort level. Some clients choose a dress that will open in the front to highlight their baby bump. Others choose more intimate wardrobe pieces. For these sessions consider bringing nude undergarments and a feminine, neutral colored robe. These will photograph beautifully without distracting from your baby bump. I can also provide silk wraps, chunky sweaters, and bodysuits. These sessions are done in the studio and are combined with your in-studio maternity session.

Sunset Maternity Session

Golden hour glow...

Sunset maternity sessions are a beautiful way to photograph your baby bump. To capture that stunning golden hour light we will schedule your session one hour before sunset. I will help you decide on the perfect location that fits your vision for your session. Some of my favorite locations include Glenview , Wilmette , Park Ridge and few other areas around . However I love when clients invite me to a location that is unique and special to them.

Lifestyle Maternity

Let's get creative!

In a lifestyle maternity session we will capture cozy, relaxed images that tell the story of what life was like as you were waiting for your sweet baby. What better setting than the the place they will one day call, their home. One of the great things about a lifestyle maternity session is that we can photograph the session throughout your home and in your baby's nursery. Then we can recreate the same images at your lifestyle newborn session! Imagine images of you standing in your perfectly decorated nursery holding that baby bump, images of you cuddled up on the couch with your partner, or images of you reading a baby book that will someday become their favorite story. Imagine capturing images of you in the kitchen that highlight those crazy cravings from this pregnancy. There are endless ways to create meaningful images in your home.
